Join the nonprofit Brewers of Indiana Guild for its 10th annual spring fundraiser, Bloomington Craft Beer Fest, benefiting Lotusfest, April 13th, 2024 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. the The Historic Woolery Mill in Bloomington. Sample beers, ciders, and more brewed by dozens of Hoosier breweries and guests while enjoying local food, shopping, and games.

Parking on site – $5 donation to the Bloomington Community Kitchen

Early Entry – Enter at 2pm & receive a taster glass to enjoy an hour of first dibs on beers from dozens of participating Hoosier breweries and guests, with a smaller crowd size and shorter lines. Early Entry guests will also receive a limited edition Bloomington Craft Beer Fest pint glass that they can pick up upon exiting the fest.

General Admission – Enter at 3 p.m. and will also receive a taster glass good for 3 oz. pours of local beer, cider and more.

Designated drivers – Enter anytime and enjoy unlimited water and coffee and access to NA samples from DD vendors.

No refunds or exchanges. This is an all-weather (rain, snow, sleet, or shine) event.

Ticket proceeds support the not-for-profit Brewers of Indiana Guild (Drink Indiana) and our mission to support, educate, promote and legislate on behalf of Hoosier Breweries.

The Brewers of Indiana Guild, our member Breweries and Producer Partners believe in building community one pint, or tasting glass, at a time. We routinely partner with our local community to give back and to support other not-for-profit and volunteer organizations. Even small actions may have a big impact a portion of our event proceeds is donated to our local charity partner, Lotus Fest.

The gala offers an opportunity to acknowledge, honor, and celebrate the accomplishments of African Americans who have devoted their time, talents, and resources to make a difference in the Bloomington community and beyond.

The Black History Month theme for this year, "Blacks in Cinema," celebrates the profound impact and enduring contributions of Black individuals in the world of film. Throughout history, Black filmmakers, actors, and storytellers have played pivotal roles in shaping the cinematic landscape, enriching it with diverse narratives and perspectives. This theme invites reflection on the resilience, creativity, and transformative power of Black voices within the realm of cinema. From trailblazing pioneers who broke barriers to contemporary visionaries who continue to redefine the industry, "Blacks in Cinema" pays homage to the artistry and cultural significance of Black storytellers, highlighting the profound influence they have had and continue to have on the global cinematic experience.

Join us for an evening of fine dining, great music, and dancing, as we recognize the 2024 Living Legend Recipients, and the Commission on the Status of Black Males’ Outstanding Black Leaders of Tomorrow recipients. Reception and Silent Auction will begin at 6:00 p.m., program will begin at 7: 00 p.m.

We’ll be sampling hundreds of Bourbons and Tequilas from around the world at Bloomington's Woolery Mill. Built in 1930 as a stone mill and now transformed into an industrial chic venue, the Woolery Mill is a National Historic Landmark and the perfect setting for this year’s event. You REALLY don’t want to miss this one! We’ll have new lots of new items, as well as your favorites. So, grab a group of friends and join us on Friday, August 25th from 5:30-8:00pm to taste, learn, explore and experience the wonderful world of whiskey and tequila!
