Lynn Schwartzberg, General Manager

Lynn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to One World Catering from her time as a professional baker and restaurant manager. Her hands-on, knowledgeable approach to catering and customer service has aided in the company's vision to serve our clients with the utmost care and quality. In addition, Lynn is actively involved in the community, and her passion has been a large factor in the growth of One World's relationship with the Bloomington area. On a day-to-day basis, Lynn works hard to ensure our staff runs smoothly and efficiently, builds relationships with current and prospective clients, and ensures our clients' events are composed both artfully and skillfully. Lynn also works hands-on in the kitchen, baking for events. In her spare time, Lynn writes a food feature for the Herald-Times and teaches occasional cooking classes in West Lafayette, Indiana.

CHEF CORBIN MORWICK

Since One World Catering opened its doors in 2009, Executive Chef Corbin Morwick has been passionate about leading a high-energy kitchen that brings our clients the freshest flavors with his innovative craft cuisine. A two-time winner of the Community Kitchen’s Chef’s Challenge in Bloomington, he takes great care to locally source our ingredients whenever possible. Corbin is a self-taught chef, with extensive experience in several local restaurants, as well as a four year stint in Boston, MA. In addition to creating delicious authentic New England dishes, he enjoys experimenting with cuisines from varied cultures and nations, often garnering compliments as to their authenticity.

Laura Burnett, Wedding Coordinator

Laura Burnett graduated from Indiana University in 2014 with a degree in Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management along with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. As the Operations Coordinator at One World Catering, Laura diligently works to ensure events are prepped for and run with the highest degree of excellence. Laura works through each event to determine the supplies and equipment needed and ensures our servers have all the details they need to be successful. Laura fosters positive relationships with our clients and works directly with them in planning events, ensuring everything runs exactly as planned and envisioned. Laura is extremely organized and is often coming up with unique ways to make operations more efficient and well-ordered.

CHEF BRETT VAN KEPPEL

Sous Chef Brett Van Keppel “caught the bug” when he started working in a restaurant kitchen as a teenager. Since then, Brett has been passionately dedicated to food. Brett is particularly gifted at beautifully plating cuisine, bringing innovation and energy to the One World Catering kitchen environment since he came to us in 2010. Brett embraces international cuisines and is always looking to expand his flavor palette from various parts of the world. Like much of our kitchen staff, Brett enjoys gardening and raising chickens, further embracing fresh, made-from-scratch practices as a way of life.
